A tailored home: bespoke interiors in the heart of New York.

Fulgini Contract was commissioned to reinterpret key interior spaces of a high-end villa in New York, a residence defined by its strong, distinctive character. Spanning four floors, the villa unfolds a unique narrative in each room—unified by a central vision expressly requested by the client: to create something unconventional.

Our main challenge was to harmoniously integrate newly designed elements into an existing environment already rich in personality, featuring bespoke furniture, custom joinery, innovative lighting, and exceptional materials.

Our team oversaw the interior design of all tailor-made components and led the redesign of pivotal spaces, including a new master bedroom and kitchen—both emblematic of refined craftsmanship and meticulously selected materials. A significant amount of time was dedicated to researching and combining finishes, with numerous samples tested to achieve the perfect balance. Furniture was chosen from leading Italian manufacturers, further underlining the strength and elegance of Made in Italy design.

In addition, Fulgini Contract developed all technical drawings for the custom joinery and, in collaboration with our partner, designed the open staircase connecting all four levels—a sculptural element entirely crafted in Italy, the result of a thorough process of design and material exploration.
